Mika Takahashi Technology Analyst
Bio
Mika Takahashi is a Technology Analyst at IDTechEx, focusing primarily on Electric Vehicle technologies. Prior to joining IDTechEx in 2023, Mika obtained a master's degree in physics from the University of Edinburgh. He is currently based in Glasgow, UK.
Education
Mika graduated with First Class Honors from the University of Edinburgh with an MPhys (Masters in Physics). During his final year he conducted research on novel methods of locomotion in granular systems, with commercial applications in the agriculture industry. This was conducted in collaboration with the Institute for Condensed Matter and Complex Systems. Alongside this he also studied a variety of topics including advanced computational modelling, statistical physics and biophysics.
Research
Mika is currently part of the EV team, with a specific focus on infrastructure.
